Welcome to School Website Design. In this class, you will go to work, maintaining and developing the website for MVAS, mvashigh.com. Topics covered include web programming skills, information architecture, graphic design, technical writing, and promotion/public relations. By working together in project groups, you will acquire marketable workplace skills such as leadership, time management, and public relations.

The MVAS website was designed and developed by students in 2004 and won Best of Class and 1st Place at the San Diego County Fair and Honorable Mention in the International CyberFair web contest. Every year since then, the MVAS website has won either Best of Show or Best of Class, reflecting the hard work and professionalism of the students.

The class also participates in service learning. Many of the projects created in this class have gone on to win awards and recognition for MVAS.
